Week 4 Matchups

Week 3 had 2 games of the year candidates, Dallas winning in OT vs HBV and

Charlotte coming up clutch in the final seconds to beat Pittsburgh. Last week

was my worst week and finished 4-2. Season total is 14-3 but I believe this 

is the week I go 6-0.

-Charlotte @ Toronto (-7.5) O/U 48.5

Somebody's 0 got to go. These are the last two undefeated teams. Charlotte

won a thriller last week vs Pitt and Toronto blitz Detroit early in the 

first quarter and held on for a 8 point win. Charlotte and Toronto have 

traded places in recent seasons with Toronto being the hunted and charlotte 

being the hunter. Charlotte is stepping up in competition this week and I 

think they will play Toronto tough but fall short at the end

Prediction - Toronto (-7.5)

-Anchorage @ Dallas (-9.5) O/U 52.5

Dallas came up with a big win vs HBV and Anchorage came up with 2 much 

needed wins after week 1 lost. The west conference is cutthroat and

every conference game is much needed. Dallas is going to ride their week 2

momentum and get another much-needed win.

Prediction - Anchorage (-9.5)

-Huntington Beach (-24.5) @ St. Louis O/U 44.5

St. Louis is reeling and need a much-needed win, only issue they are playing

in HBV team coming off a lost. STL doesn't match up well to HBV and I expect

this game to get ugly fast.

Prediction - HBV (-24.5)

-Detroit (-13.5) @ Tacoma O/U 48.5

Detroit is coming off their first loss of the season where they couldn't get

much going offensively and Tacoma got their first win of the season with a 

14-point win vs STL. Jim Carr is playing better than expected but he's

facing a Detroit defense that is among the best in the league. I expect a 

close first half but Detroit running away with it in the 2nd half.

Prediction - Detroit (-13.5)

-New York (-20.5) @ Tampa Bay O/U 40.5

NY has recovered nicely from week 1 and it's starting to hit its stride.

Tampa Bay has yet to win a game this week and this week they have a tough 

challenge in facing NY. I see Tampa Bay playing catch up most of the game 

but never getting close enough to make NY sweat.

Prediction - New York (-20.5)

-Pittsburgh (-17.5) @ New Jersey O/U 48.5

Both teams are 0-3 but its different energy around these two teams. Pitt 

has played a tough schedule coming out the gate and was very close to 

getting there first win by 10 seconds. NJ on the other hand, don't have 

much to hang their hat on. They have the worst defense in the league and 

facing a offense like Pitt will not help. Their best chance is to fight 

power with power. Pitt defense is too tough for them to go back and forth.

Prediction - Pittsburgh (-17.5)
