Top 15 Players in USFA History (No. 14 and 13)

by Jade Carpenter

Since the beginning of the season we have been journeying through the leagues top players through the first 10 seasons, Today we continue with numbers 14 and 13 since we missed last week.  But now coming in hot with number 14 we have...

14. HANK FALCO - QB - CHA

Hank Falco is the youngest player to make the list, however in such a short amount of time he's managed to rack up quite the trophy case. With 2 QBotY awards in season 7 and 9,  Offensive Rookie of the Year in season 6, Offensive Player of the Year in Season 7,  and league MVP in season 9. The only thing thats missing from his illustrious career is a ring.

He currently sits at 11647 total passing yards, 85 TD passes, and a staggering 298.5 passing yards per game average. Currently Falco is only 9000 yards shy of Rebecca Montagne's career mark, although as stats continue to get worked on from past seasons that may change. Even still, if there was going to be a challenger to Rebecca Montagne's reign as the best to ever do it, Hank Falco may be that guy.

He'll have a little bit of work to do though, as this season Falco sits at 9th in the league in passing yards and passing yards per game, but makes up for that with 4 passing TD's which is good for 2nd in the span of two games.

Now moving along to our number 13 spot we have another player who's still kicking it within the league we have...

13. Darren Eliason - WR - TOR

Darren may be reaching the final stages of his career, currently sitting 5th on the Toronto depth chart, but that doesn't mean that his trophy case is empty. With two rings to his name currently with the Season 1 Tacoma Eruption and Season 6 Huntington Beach Voyagers, Eliason has been a journeyman that has found steady work throughout his 9 season career.

Even at his age, last season he still managed to find the endzone 14 times which was good for 3rd in the league. Eliason may have peaked here at the number 13 spot on our all time list, however he's still had a career that is worth mentioning as one of the best in the Axis era of the USFA. His speed was unmatched and frequently left his man in the dust.

Be sure to tune in next week for our No.12 spot on the all time list!
