S10 Rankings 6-1

by Brighton Grisby

6. Money Mills - Pittsburgh Roughnecks

This ranking may ruffle some feathers. Don't get me wrong Mills is a great quarterback who knows how to be accurate in some of the worst-case scenarios. Pittsburgh is stuck at 3-3 for a reason, however, and measuring everything he has against other quarterbacks, well, is the reason he is here at 6. Mills year so far consists of 10 passing touchdowns to just 4 interceptions. He completes passes at a clip of 63% with a respectable QBR rating of 95. Mills is no doubt a wonder to watch in the league. I have no doubt he will get the Roughnecks back on track.

5. Hank Falco - Charlotte Royals

The fearless leader of the undefeated Royals lands here at number 5. Charlotte is known for their ruthless defense but it is also Falco's cool head in rough spots that helps keep this team in the winning column. There is no doubt the Royals are one of the best teams in the league. Perhaps this season if they continue on the route they're on they will be the best. Let's look at Falco's stats, shall we? Falco's got 9 passing touchdowns to only 2 interceptions. He makes his throws at a very high clip of 68%, has a rushing touchdown, and even has a QBR of over 100. With Falco under center, there will always be glorious days in Charlotte.

4. Zaire Augustus - New Jersey Battalion

Zaire surprises everyone by sneaking in at number 4. New Jersey may be stuck in the middle of the Eastern Conference with a record of 3-3, but there is no doubt that when they put the ball in Zaire's hands they want to win. Zaire completes his passes at a league best 70 freaking percent! He also has 11 passing touchdowns to 4 interceptions and a nice QBR of 107. With a few little tweaks, New Jersey will be set to make a whole lotta noise in the coming seasons.

3. Action Jackson Jr. - Arizona Rattlers

Putting up a very solid season, Jackson lands at number 3. Arizona is off to a great start to the year with a 4-2 record, I believe Arizona is truly a sleeper to consider for the championship. Jackson has thrown 17 touchdowns to only 4 interceptions, His completion rate is a little lower at 59%, but his QBR of 106 proves he tries to make the wise choices. I could see Action getting to be ranked number 2 next year if he keeps things up!

2. James West - Tampa Bay Typhoon

A shining bright star on an otherwise sinking 2-4-Tampa Bay team, West has made his case as a Top 3 signal caller. There is no doubt that in a few seasons, he could be challenging for the argument of the best QB in the league. West has 15 passing touchdowns with only 5 thrown picks this season. He completes his throws at 66% with a QBR of eyepopping 114. He has the ability to get the ball out and not take the sack considering he has only taken 13. West has a very bright future ahead of him. Let's see if he can keep it up!

1. Tyler Detherage - Huntington Beach Voyagers

Ding Ding Ding! We got ourselves a winner! The Voyagers are one of two undefeated teams and Tyler is a HUGE part in why. Tyler has 16 passing touchdowns this year and a QBR of a league-best 115. He also completes his passes at 67%. There is no doubt he takes care of the ball and doesn't falter in big moments. He has taken only 6 sacks and has thrown only 4 interceptions. I could see West challenging him next year for number 1 but I could also see Tyler holding firm. The Voyagers are no doubt the favorite to win it all and it's mainly because of this amazing gunslinger!
