S10 QB Rankings 12-7
12. Jim Carr - St. Louis Archers
It wouldn't be hard to guess that the quarterback for the worst team would end up at the bottom of these rankings. When you have the blessed opportunity to lead a team and don't work hard day in and day out, your team will end up suffering. Carr's stats through 6 games are 96 completions off of 166 throws for 1000 yards, 3 touchdowns, 5 interceptions, and a QBR of 69. Do I have to say more gentleman? This would also explain why St. Louis still hasn't won a game. Those 17 sacks taken are eye-popping as well
11. Dane Jones- Anchorage Snow Devils
The ONLY reason Jones isn't lower on this list is because of the better QBR, more yards, and fewer sacks taken. But Jones isn't something to write home about either. Anchorage has won 2 out of 6 games with Jones under center, which means that they still have some more work to do. Jones has a stat line of 109 completed passes out of 175 potential passes. That stands for a whopping 62% of his passes that he gets to his WRs. But the 3 touchdowns to 6 interceptions, and the 72 QBR, are the reasons Jones is stuck at 11.
10. Shawn Bridges- Tacoma Eruption
The longtime USFA Player has got to realize he has had a fall from grace, Bridges used to be ranked one of the best in the league but with great age comes great regressibiilty. Is that even a word? It is today. Tacoma is 3rd in their division with a 2-4 record. Bridges has an accuracy good enough for 64%, he also has 6 touchdowns and an identical 6 interceptions. So, he's not bad, but compared to some of the other QBs he doesn't add up. That 80 QBR is decent at this stage of his career, however.
9. DJ Church - Dallas Dragons
Dallas sitting at 2 and 4 sucks But for what it's worth it's not really Church's fault. He completes his passes at a nice 64% and he has thrown 5 Touchdowns to only 2 interceptions. His 92 rating of a QBR is very nice as well. One of the reasons Church is sitting at 9 is because he takes sacks..... A lot! 22 taken sacks prove that when needing to get out of the pocket, Church either does not have the ability to scramble or he takes risky decisions that lead to him being sacked.
8 Aaron Ike - New York Mafia
For a sinking Mafia team, Ike's numbers aren't even that bad. He leads the league in interceptions, which might be a big reason to why New York is 1-5. But he also has thrown 11 touchdowns with a QBR of 85. Those 8 interceptions aren't great, but he also averages over 300 passing yards a game so I think he is better than Carr, Jones, Bridges, and Church. Ike will no doubt get better with each season and I think he is going to be a serious gunslinger in the upcoming seasons...
7- Jax James - Toronto Wraiths
James being all the way down here when his team is 5-1 may be a shock for some but at the end of the day I'm measuring stats and with some of these other QBs James has to admit they may be slightly better. There is no doubt that Toronto will have a fierce leader in James come playoff time, Jax is good for 7 touchdowns to only 1 interception as well as making his passes at a very nice 68%. He also has a rushing touchdown and has only taken 13 sacks. There is nowhere to go but up for James.
Rankings 6-1 later in the week! Stay tuned!
