HBV or CHA.... Who Will Fall First?

by Brighton Grisby

Going into Week 11, the Huntington Beach Voyagers and the Charlotte Royals boast the undefeated title. They've played 10 games a piece and no one has been able to beat them, but after this week, only one team will be left standing. Who will it be? Hmm.

QB Edge: Huntington Beach

Now don't get me wrong these two teams have really great leaders that have taken their teams really far. But between Tyler and Hank, we can agree that one stands out a lot more than the other. Falco has a stat line of 16 touchdowns to only 3 picks and a really good completion percentage of 67.%. There is no doubt Falco has done his job. Let's look at Detherage. A whopping 30 passing touchdowns to 6 picks. He also has a completion rating of 67.5%. Falco has good stats but Tyler has almost double the amount of touchdowns.

RB Edge: Charlotte Royals

This can be argued to go either way but I'm gonna give this matchup to Charlotte here. The Royals utilize the running game more than the Voyagers do anyway and Doc Boone has done a really good job moving the ball and getting between the linemen. Huntington Beach running back Caleb Howard has 140 attempts for 661 yards, which is an average of 4.7 yards. He also has found his way into the end zone 4 times. Doc has 170 attempts for 787 yards with an average of 4.6 yards a carry. He has found his way into the end zone 2 times. But Boone also has 100 more yards receiving yards than Howard, making him a more versatile back.

I think at the end of the day this game will really be something to watch because it could shift momentum to one particular team. I can't wait to watch it!
